Most Photon Problems Are One of Three Things

Not enough SOL. This is the big one. Photon takes 1% of the SOL amount on the buy, and your priority fee and Jito bribe come out of the same balance. Fund a wallet to exactly the size you want to trade and the transaction fails before it reaches the network. Keep a buffer, and remember the buffer needs to be bigger when the network is busy, because that is exactly when your fees need to be higher.

Fees set too low for conditions. A transaction stuck on "executing" and retrying is the single FAQ item Photon itself documents on the Solana side, and it usually means your priority fee or bribe is not competitive right now. Raise them, or switch the active preset to Auto Speed, which sets both from recently successful transactions instead of a fixed number. Photon's Smart-MEV Protection also changes routing by bribe size: Fast Mode sends bribes under 0.001 SOL directly to Jito and larger ones through Bloxroute, and Secure Mode does the same at 0.002 SOL. Slippage tolerance versus liquidity. Slippage errors are almost always thin liquidity or a fast-moving price rather than a platform fault. Slippage is stored per preset alongside your fees, so the fix starts with checking which of S1, S2 or S3 is active, since quick-buy from Memescope uses whichever one that is.

Deposits That Arrive Short

Reports of deposits landing below the amount sent, for example 0.12 SOL from a 0.15 SOL transfer, turn up on review sites. Work the problem in order. Pull the transaction hash and read it on a Solana explorer: that tells you what left, what arrived and what the network took, which resolves most cases immediately. If the numbers still do not reconcile, ask the harder question, which is whether the interface you used was Photon at all. What Photon Cannot Do for You

Two hard limits worth internalizing before something goes wrong. First, a lost private key is final: Tiny Astro's Terms of Use state the company has no way to grant access to an account whose wallet you no longer control, and there is no recovery flow to appeal to. Second, support is a recurring complaint in user reviews, so treat a fast response as a bonus rather than a plan. The official X account is @tradewithPhoton. Nobody legitimate will ask for your private key, on any channel, ever.

Also worth ruling out: if you are looking for a Photon setting to catch Pump.fun migrations, there isn't one. No migration-sniping mechanic appears anywhere in Photon's documentation. Separately, the March 2025 change that routed Pump.fun migrations to PumpSwap rather than Raydium changed how detection works across the entire ecosystem, so older guides on the subject are describing a world that no longer exists.
